Advanced method of Teaching.

In order to achieve the objective of education, school system should follow some systematic teaching methods. The final goal of school system is the growth of students. Thus how to achieve that goal.

    Interactive teaching

There are several methods of teaching, one effective methods of teaching interactive teaching. Its stands for dialogue between teacher and students. Teacher possess some question before the students. The students are expressed to respond the question. When  the teacher r ask the further question to their answer , the dialogue goes on.

The teacher should be equipped with the topic of the discussion; he should be able to lead the discussion according to the lesson objectives. This can be practiced in a class there are limited number of students. It provides an opportunity to the students to express their current knowledge about the topic. They can understand their volume of knowledge about the topic. The role of the teacher is enrich the exciting the knowledge of the students by providing the materials through the discussion. Suppose the topic is “Population the teacher may ask questions regarding the growth of population, its effects, cautious, and its solutions. The students contribute their views and ideas to the discussion, the students may express different views regarding the topics. Most often their idea might be complete. The teacher should give the ideas or views which are not expressed the students. Finally this interactive teaching ends with feedback to the students.

The students are also given a chance to judge the method of teacher. The most important advantage of interactive teaching is the active participation and involvement of the students in teaching and learning process. It provides an opportunity to the students to get immediate feedback.

Halite 1952 AD “ the immediate of feedback assist objective  learning and its further enhanced when it can be insisted by the learners and its consequently particularly powerful”

Another advantage of interactive teaching is that is provides an opportunity to the learner to discuss the lesson or topic beyond the curriculum. Argument and counter arguments, questioning and answering make class room more alive.

But it has some practical limitation it needs both teacher and students initiative in the topic. If only teacher has the interest on the topic and students not interested, the discussion will be dull.

It might be artificial. Thus success of interactive teaching mainly depends on the selection of the topic.

Moreover both the teacher and students must be equipped with details of the topic. The teacher should possess wide reading habit and should and encourage the students to read widely.

Thus interactive teaching is basically students centered even though the teacher has an important role. It ensures students involvement through the class. That is from beginning to end it is students centered.
